Mercer Island High School celebrated homecoming Friday with its annual parade through the Town Center.
This year’s theme was the 007-inspired Mission to Homecoming: License to Dance. The school’s homecoming royalty was honored at halftime of Mercer Island’s homecoming football game against Kingston High.
The homecoming king and queen were seniors Jordano Mark and Brooke Fitzwilson. High school counselors Chris Harnish and Cathy Gentino served as parade grand marshalls. Science teacher Aaron Noble and math teacher Kim Schjelderup were the homecoming duke and duchess.
