The 73rd Northwest International Exhibition of Photography competition draws entries from throughout the world, while the seventh annual Washington State Photographers Exhibition is exclusive for residents in the state.

Washington residents may enter both contests, but not the same images in both contests. The Washington State Fair runs Sept. 6-22.

Then click Login/Logoff and choose your Type (select Exhibitor), then Create Entries. You will select the department and division.

Enter the Tablesetting Contest. Register July 15 to August 15 (by 10 p.m.). Entries are processed in order of arrival, and will not be accepted before July 15.

The wide range of colors makes the Home Arts Department’s quilt contest a kaleidoscope each year, and this will be no exception at the Washington State Fair. Quilters are encouraged to complete their projects in time to enter their works of art in the competition. Two different online registration deadlines have been announced for five different quilt competitions.

Artists throughout the region are invited to enter their works of art in the Fine Art Contest. To be eligible, artists must register online by Sunday, Aug. 4, 10 p.m. Once registered online, entries are due at the Washington State Fair Events Center Aug. 6-8. A total of $4,300 will be awarded in the water media, oils, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, digital art and miniature categories.
