Medicine take-back day scheduled for April 27 on Mercer Island

The City of Mercer Island, along with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration will be hosting a medicine take-back day on Saturday, April 27 at City Hall. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The City of Mercer Island, along with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration will be hosting a medicine take-back day on Saturday, April 27 at City Hall. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Mercer Island residents can bring unwanted and expired medicines to be safely disposed of at anonymous event.

As part of a national event to help clean out medicine cabinets of unwanted and expired medicine, officials will be accepting prescribed narcotics, prescription medicine, over the counter medicine, as well as medication samples, pet medicine and other items.
