As a member of the Pegasus literary magazine’s editorial staff, I would like to thank all of the businesses that contributed to making our publication a success. Our goal was to distribute this magazine for free, so that every student at MIHS could enjoy their classmates’ writing and art. With the help of Winterbauer & Diamond, P.L.L.C., Mercer Island High School Senior Service Club, Mercer Island Florist, Island Books, Fern Lam, Fernacity team at MetLife Home Loans and Dr. Arthur Chandless, we were able to fulfill that goal. It is fantastic that these organizations continue to support student-driven academic expression even when the economy is rough. With more than three times as many pages and color artwork, we were able to make this year’s Pegasus better than ever before. We are extremely grateful to MI businesses and organizations.
