This Week on Mercer Island

The Argosy’s Spirit of Seattle, the official Christmas Ship, arrives at Luther Burbank Park Beach at 5:50 p.m. this Sunday, Dec. 21, at the swimming beach at Luther Burbank Park. The glittering ship will have a local choir onboard singing holiday greetings broadcast from ship to shore. Come early and enjoy a toasty beach bonfire, hot chocolate, coffee and treats for a festive holiday evening. Bring an unwrapped gift to be donated to a local charity. Bring a flashlight, as the park will be dark.
