Announced on Tuesday, May 1, the 2012 class of inductees to the State of Washington Sports Hall of Fame, includes former Mercer Island High School coach Ed Pepple.
The group of six will be inducted into the Hall of Fame, located in Tacoma.
The 2012 class includes: NFL quarterbacks Drew Bledsoe and Warren Moon, horse racing jockey Russell Baze, Pepple, former Seattle Pacific soccer coach Cliff McCrath and late Seattle Rainier’s owner Emil Sick.
Membership plaques are displayed at the Shanaman Sports Museum in Tacoma next to the Tacoma Dome.
