In an effort to help get Mercer Island seniors out and about, the Mercer Island Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a new senior lunch and conversation the second Wednesday of the month at the Community and Event Center.

Reservations are required and transportation is available. The lunch is $5 plus tax and is for seniors 65 and older and will be held from noon to 1 p.m.
