The Mercer Island girls lacrosse team beat Bainbridge on Wednesday, May 1 to keep a perfect league record and move into the No. 1 spot in their conference.
The Islanders beat the Spartans 12-10.
Dulce Moll had four gals with one assist, Tyler Sherper added four goals, while Saffron Snethen made two goals with one ground ball. Madison Blackburn had one goal, as did Taylor Dahlgren who added an assist.
The Islanders are now 6-0 in league with a 10-2-0 overall record. The Islanders only two losses this season have come against Lakeside and Lake Sammamish, teams which are currently tied with the best record in the state at 11-1 overall.
