Kiwanis meetings on school bond, taxes open to the community | Community briefs

The Mercer Island Kiwanis club will hear presentations from MISD, King County Assessor's office.

The Mercer Island Kiwanis club is holding three programs of interest to the community. All are always welcome.

On Jan. 23, the club will hear a presentation by the Mercer Island School District on the bond and levy set for a vote on Feb. 11. On Feb. 13, there will be a presentation by the King County Assessor’s office on property taxes. Finally, Sylvester Neal of Auburn, Wash., a recent past Kiwanis International President, will be address the club.
