Youth Theatre kicks off the Halloween season with the story that gave birth to the most feared monstrosity of the horror film genre, “Zombies.”

YTN’s fast-paced, slow-walking horror show offers chilling drama and abominable acts with a surprising and absurd blend of humor and stage camp at this interactive theatrical experience immersing you into the action — “get up close and personal as the characters fight for their lives against the undead hoards,” says YTN in a press release.

The show is best for ages 9 and up. Performances are Oct. 19-Nov. 2, Friday and Saturday evenings, at 7, 8  and 9:30 p.m.
