Strengths: “There’s a lot of young potential,” Peterson said. “We took six girls to state last year and five of six are still with us.”

Needs to improve: “Probably being consistent,” Quickstad said. “I feel like we have a lot of girls who are all over the board. One match they’ll shoot really low, and then one match they’ll shoot really high, so I think this year we’re going to really focus on consistency.”

Goals: “We have high hopes for the team,” Quickstad said. “We want to come out first in KingCo, win [the] KingCo [tournament] and districts and place top five at state this year.”

“We’re trying to take it one step at a time first, though, instead of throwing girls into pressure beforehand,” Peterson said.
