The Mercer Island PTA Council held its 40th annual Community Scholarship Awards event on June 1. The Community Scholarship program demonstrates the community’s appreciation of and support for its youth. Each scholarship awarded recognizes outstanding attitude, effort and achievement by each student in a particular area.
