Library lacks attention to detail regarding plants | Letter

As a gardener and Island resident, I noticed recently that the library grounds were looking dry. I thought perhaps the watering system got turned off during remodeling. I phoned the library on July 29 to report a number of mature plants in distress. Two more calls last week to the King County Library System also brought no action.

Is there no local bureaucracy that can function “normally” to taxpayer observations and take care of simple business? If plants need to be replaced, the bill could easily be thousands of dollars.

If I ran my business with this lack of attention to detail, I would have been “history” long ago.
