The Mercer Island Band Boosters are holding a fundraiser to help raise money to help pay for the MIHS marching band camp held each summer.

The event is between 7:30 and 11:30 p.m., Saturday, November 16, at the Mercer Island Community and Events Center.

Island band leader and musician, Dave Bentley will be swingin’ with special musical guest, the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra on the bass trombone. Other band directors and special guests are planning  to sit in as well.

The adults-only event is open to all band families  of musician in grades 5-12, along with band alumni  and the community. For tickets go to http://misbb.wordpress.com/donate/buy-tickets/.  The event is limited to 300 people.
