Kavesh to be youth ambassador for Tourette’s | School briefs

Daniel Kavesh, an 8th grader at Islander Middle School, was nominated to be a Youth Ambassador by the Tourette Syndrome Association of Washington and Oregon.

Daniel Kavesh, an 8th grader at Islander Middle School, was nominated recently by the Tourette Syndrome Association of Washington and Oregon to be the Youth Ambassador chapter delegate to the TSA’s Youth Ambassador Training and 2014 Trip to the Hill to visit legislators in Washington, DC, March 18th through 20th. After the training, Daniel will stay and attend the Tourette Syndrome Association’s national conference March 21st through 23rd.

As a TSA Youth Ambassador, Daniel will learn public speaking skills, build friendships with other teens involved in the program, and represent the TS community while raising awareness through YA Program activities and speaking engagements.
