Donald Rhodes Bowman

Don was a longtime Mercer Island resident before relocating to Puyallup in 2006. Born in Seattle he attended Garfield High School.

In the early 50’s he met and married the love of his life, Nancy Green. He worked many jobs including Todd Shipyard, was a Merchant Marine, Seattle Transit, Seattle PI, Boeing. After suffering a heart attack he became a barber most notably having Ole Bardahl and Ivar Haglund as customers. He loved meeting and talking with people.

He was preceded in death by wife Nancy; son Kim; survived by daughter Toni (Mike) Lynch of Kirkland, sons Daryl (Eileen) Hunter, Marysville and Stephen Kanzee, Hayward, CA.
