William (Bill) Price

Long time North Bend resident, William (Bill) Price passed away quietly in his sleep September 4, 2011 due to complications from Alzheimer’s disease. Bill was born in Texas, but was raised in Lindsay, CA. He enlisted in the Marine Corps after which he traveled the US before settling back in Lindsay to help with the family business. After several years, he relocated to Washington and began working for The City of Mercer Island. He became involved in Kiwanis and truly enjoyed being an active member, in charge of the 4th of July fireworks stand for many years. He moved to back to the Exeter area to be closer to family when his disease became more advanced. He was preceded in death by his father Morton Price. He is survived by his mother, Ann Paul and his brother Jack Price both of Redding, CA. He is also survived by his three daughters, Kim Fahrni of San Luis Obispo, CA, Dawn Price-Southworth of Reston, VA, Genice Price of Visalia, CA, grandchildren Haileigh Diamant, Taylor Fahrni, Sierra Schluep, Tyler Southworth, Sydney Southworth and Caden Southworth.
