Margot Jones

Margot Jones, 83, passed away on April 22, 2012 at her home at Spiritwood in Issaquah. She was born in Chicago, IL in 1928, married Lloyd W. Jones in 1951 and they soon moved to Idaho Falls, ID where they had two sons, Jeffrey and Steven. In 1962, they moved to Mercer Island where they had two more sons, Gregory and Christopher. An easy smile and a caring attitude about all around her, Margot was well-known in this community. She was a gracious woman who appreciated both the big and small things in her life. Margot was active with Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, the Arboretum Foundation, many small trips with both the entire family and with Lloyd only, Volkswalk and lots more. Lloyd died in 1994 after a harmonious 43 years. Margot left the Island (after 45 years) in 2006 to live at Spiritwood. Margot is survived by her sons, two daughters-in-law, and eight grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
