Caroline Leuthold

Caroline Leuthold was born February 19, 1926 of Swiss immigrant parents in Van Nuys, California with dedicated ties to her European relations. Graduated from Van Nuys High School and University of California Los Angeles. Life long member and active in Chi Omega Sorority. President of Mercer Island Parent Teachers Association. Precinct committee woman, ardent conservative and supporter of Republican Party. Strong entrepreneurial spirit. Ardent traveler developing life long friendships abroad. Devoted gardener and member of Seattle Arboretum. Long time member of Women’s University Club. Loved outdoor activities and all that the beautiful Pacific Northwest has to offer. Fifty-five year resident of Mercer Island. Loved the arts – Symphony, Ballet, Opera, Pops. Devoted Mother and Wife, she is survived by husband Donald of 57 years, children Jeff, Cherie and Craig, grandchildren Boone, Tanner, Addie Mae, Christian,and Katya and her sister Martha Bremer.
