Kathleen Ann Short

September 18, 1956 – July 9, 2014

It is with great sadness that the family of Kathleen Ann Short announce her sudden passing on Wednesday, July 9, 2014.

Kathleen was born in Olympia Washington on September 18, 1956 to Robert and Maxine Short of Corvallis Oregon. She graduated from Mercer Island High School in 1974 where she participated in Varsity Gymnastics. In her younger years she was very active in figure skating where she competed and reached national levels. She was an active member of her local Catholic church and had numerous interests such as karate, where she earned her brown belt.

She received both her Bachelors in Business Administration and her MBA from City University of Seattle. Kathleen was employed with The Boeing Company of Seattle as an Administrative Technician for over 25 years.

Kathleen is lovingly survived by her parents Robert and Maxine of Corvallis Ore., her brothers Brian, Donald and his wife Carolyn of the Seattle area, Michael and his wife Liza and their children Nicholas and Katherine of North Carolina, and other relatives.

Kathleen will be interred in Corvallis, Oregon.
