DEBRA LYNNAGEE WILLIAMS
Debra Lynn Agee Williams’ journey through life ended on August 6, 2011. Debbie was born in Frankfurt, Germany on April 29, 1961 to Carol Anne Berntsen and Michael Agee. She spent her early years growing up in Seattle and on Mercer Island, Washington. After graduating from Mercer Island High School, Debbie attended the University of Washington where she was an active member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority and played on the women’s tennis team. After school, Debbie met her husband and best friend, Tom Williams. Debbie and Tom married in July, 1985 and moved to California finally settling in La Quinta. They spent many happy years golfing, playing tennis, and enjoying time with their family and friends. Close to Debbie’s heart was the work she did for the Boys and Girls Club of La Quinta for the past fifteen years. Debbie cherished the friendships with the kids she mentored and they all loved her. Debbie treasured the times she traveled and explored new places. Some of her favorite spots were on the beaches of Hawaii and on the Oregon Coast. She loved to play with her nieces and nephews, and relax by the pool or beach with a good book. She was beautiful and full of kindness; Debbie always looked for the positive in everyone. We will miss her dearly. Preceding Debbie in death was her mother, Carol Hudson and father J. Michael Agee. Debbie leaves behind her husband, Tom, her sisters, Terri Smith, Kristin Mirick, Kristen Littell, Kim Viccaro, Stacy Agee, and Kerri Agee, her mother-and father-in-law, Florence and David Williams, her Aunt, Patti Grow, her stepfather, Glen Hudson, many cherished nieces and nephews, loving brother-and-sister-in-laws and all of her wonderful friends. In lieu of gifts, the family requests donations are made to the Boys and Girls Club, La Quinta Unit 49995, Park Avenue, La Quinta, CA 92253 in memory of Debbie Williams.
