Pagliacci Pizza is now testing gluten-free pizzas at its Mercer Island store. The gluten-free crusts are made with gluten-free ingredients in a gluten-friendly environment. Pagliacci does not recommend the pizza for those with serious gluten allergies or celiac disease.

Customers may now order any pizza in the 11 inch size on a gluten-free crust for an additional $4.

The Mercer Island store, located in Town Center at 3077 78th Ave. SE, opened this past September. It features a mid-century modern dining room, lots of glass and brick accent walls. A patio with a fireplace provides comfortable seasonal outdoor seating. The store features a slice bar and beer and wine.

Delivery is available to all of Mercer Island, and begins at 5 p.m. on weekdays and 4 p.m. on weekends. Doors open daily at 11 a.m.

Pagliacci Pizza was founded in 1979 on the Ave in the University District and now has 26 stores throughout the greater Seattle metropolitan area. Over the decades, Pagliacci has won many awards, including Best Pizza numerous times in Seattle Weekly.
