Performing artists are needed for the 2017 Mercer Island Art Council’s Mostly Music in the Park Summer Concert Series. These popular community performances are held from 7-8:30 p.m. on five consecutive Thursday evenings, starting July 20, at Mercerdale Park in downtown Mercer Island. A sound system is provided.

The Arts Council is accepting digital submissions and prefers no CDs. The deadline for submission is Jan. 24.

To apply, please email the band’s interest to mostly.music@mercergov.org, and provide a website address from which music samples and band photo are available, including any additional information about the band or music that would be helpful to the selection committee. A list of the five bands selected will be posted on the Mercer Island Arts Council website in early February.
