Feb. 25
PROWLING: A man in the 9900 block of SE 40th St. said at 1:27 p.m. that his truck’s unsecured camper shell was prowled, and a black bag containing work tools was stolen. There was no damage to the vehicle.
Feb. 26
PROWLING: At 10:34 a.m., a victim reported that their unlocked vehicle, which was parked in a driveway in the 7400 block of 87th Place SE, had been prowled. Documents and a cell phone were taken.
THEFT: Mail theft was reported in the 7400 block of 87th Place SE at 3:43 p.m.
Feb. 27
MORE PROWLING: A victim reported that their unlocked vehicle was prowled in the Aviara parking garage at 9:49 a.m.
THEFT: A rocking chair was reported stolen from a hallway in front of a victim’s unit in the 9000 block of E. Shorewood Drive at 6:13 p.m., for a loss of $200.
Feb. 28
WARRANT ARREST: A warrant subject was picked up from SCORE Jail on a Mercer Island warrant, processed in court and released at 12:48 p.m.
March 1
ANOTHER ARREST: Bellevue police arrested a subject with an MIPD warrant and booked him into Issaquah Jail at 2:22 a.m.
BURGLARY: At 6:06 a.m., a victim reported that their attached garage and vehicle were entered unlawfully in the 9700 block of SE 41st St., though nothing appeared to be missing or damaged.
ANOTHER BURGLARY: Tools were reported stolen from a storage shed in the 9700 block of SE 41st St. at 6:50 a.m.
PROWLING: A woman in the 9700 block of SE 41st St. reported that her car had been prowled at 8:12 a.m. Her mailbox was also rummaged through, and her mail was opened.
MORE PROWLING: A woman, also in the 9700 block of SE 41st St., said her vehicle was unlawfully entered and rummaged through while parked in her driveway at 10:47 a.m., though nothing appeared to be missing.
March 2
PROWLING: A victim parked her vehicle outside a friend’s home in the 3400 block of 97th Ave. SE overnight. In the morning, she found her car had been prowled, and items were missing, though no damage was reported to the vehicle.
FRAUD: A man in the 8300 block of SE 82nd St. said at 2:35 p.m. that his name was fraudulently used in an attempt to open an account at Chase Bank. His address had also been changed with the U.S. Postal Service, but he wasn’t aware of any financial loss.
BURGLARY: Officers responded to an alarm in the 4700 block of Fernridge Lane at 2:45 p.m., which turned out to be a burglary. They cleared the house, and didn’t find anyone, but obtained several items of evidence. It was unknown what, if anything, was stolen at the time of the report.
