October 2, 1939 – March 13, 2017

Ross was born in Olympia, WA to Dr. and Mrs. Sanford Lehman. He attended Roosevelt High School, Central Washington and Gonzaga Universities. Ross married Laurie Roberts in 1962.

He will be greatly missed by his four children and their spouses Jennifer Schneider (Brian), Michelle Schulz (Randy), William Lehman (Jamie), Mark Lehman (Stacie) and his nine grandchildren Joel, Rachel, Hannah, Michaela, Hailey, Ethan, Jarrett, Travis, Colin and one great grandchild Aiden. Ross and Laurie took each of the grandchildren on a special and memorable trip when they were ten.

He will be missed by his brother Ron, his sisters in law and his beloved nieces and nephews.

Ross was preceded in death by a brother, Richard.

Ross spent his career at Deaconess Medical Center before working as a human resource consultant and starting a business, Human Resource Services Northwest. Ross enjoyed supporting the children at Blaine elementary school where his daughter Michelle teaches. He was a long time member of a men’s Saturday morning bible study group on Mercer Island. He was generous and open hearted to all those around him.

Services will be held at Evergreen Covenant Church on Mercer Island where he was a long time member on April 8th at 2 o’clock.

In lieu of flowers, remembrance can be made to one of the following ministries. Agros International, with whom he made a number of mission trips, Eastside Salvation Army where he was part of the advisory Council, Free Wheelchair Mission or Dads, where the men deeply inspired him.
