MIVAL opens holiday art and gift show

The Mercer Island Visual Arts League (MIVAL) opened its annual juried holiday art and gift show on Nov. 2 at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center.

The show, sponsored by the Mercer Island Arts Council, runs through Dec. 15. Works by more than 40 artists are on display, including jewelry, home decor, sculpture, photography, painting and more.

The Mercer Gallery at the Community and Event Center is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
