The Mercer Island Congregational Church invites locals to join their 40-voice choir and four-piece band this spring as they time-travel back to the 1960’s.

The church will celebrate the decade’s evocative songs with wonderful arrangements including “We Shall Overcome,” “Turn, Turn, Turn,” “Stop In The Name of Love,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” and “I Heard It Through The Grapevine.”

The performance is scheduled for May 6 at 3 p.m. at 4545 Island Crest Way. An additional performance is scheduled for April 29 at 3 p.m. at the Seattle First Baptist Church, 1111 Harvard Ave., Seattle.

$20 for adults, $15 for seniors and youth, free for children under 12 and $10 per person for groups of 10.
