Stuart Donald Marr passed away peacefully on May 7, 2018 surrounded by family and friends.
Stuart was born in Seattle, Washington to Donald and Ruby Marr and older sister, Taryn. He was raised on Mercer Island and graduated from Mercer Island High school in 1982. He went on to graduate from the University of Washington with a BA in Criminal Justice. He was a proud member of The Phi Delta Theta fraternity.
He married his long time love Heidi Wehrle in 1991 and they went on to have three daughters: Natalie, Sarah, and Audrey. He loved being a part of his family’s daily lives and supporting them in all of their involvements. Stuart also loved all Seattle sports and was an avid fisherman, enjoying time fishing on the Columbia River. He enjoyed cooking traditional Chinese food, hosting friends and neighbors, and showing them hospitality.

Stuart is survived by his wife Heidi, daughters Natalie, Sarah, Audrey, and nephew Jason (Jamie) Marr and their daughters Ava, Taylor and Allison.
He is fondly remembered by his upbeat and always positive attitude. He took on every challenge head first and lived life to its fullest.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Monica’s Catholic Church on Mercer Island on May 18, 2018 at 11am.
