March 15, 1941 – June 27, 2018

Jim died of complications following open-heart surgery.

Following a fulfilling teaching career for the Mercer Island School District, Jim enjoyed an active retirement volunteering for the Mercer Island Chamber of Commerce and Trinity Parish Thrift Store.

In addition to his wife, Ingrid, Jim is survived by his children, Matthew (Jeanna), Sara (Grant), and James, his sister, Gaynell (Viktor), and his grandchildren, Laurenn, and Emerson.

A service will be held at Trinity Parish Church in Seattle on August 4 at 11AM with a reception following at Seattle Elks Lodge #92 on the Ship Canal from 1-4 PM.
