Burglary: An unknown suspect entered the Pixie Hill Preschool and took a victim’s purse that was hanging on a hook just inside the door. credit cards were reportedly stolen.
Saturday, Sept. 8
Prowling: An unknown suspect broke a window of a locked vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence on the 8100 block of SE 40th St.
Theft: A reporting party reported that an unauthorized person accrued charges on her Macy’s credit card.
Thursday, Sept. 6
Prowling: An unlocked car was prowled overnight while parked in a driveway on the 4500 block of 89th Ave. SE.
Tuesday, Sept. 4
Burglary: An unknown suspect stole from a residence undergoing renovations during the holiday weekend on the 3400 block of 97th Ave. SE. The suspect stole undisclosed property from the garage and the household.
Theft: A reporting party advised police that there was fraudulent activity on their bank account over the past month and that a suspect contacted them over email saying that they possessed the party’s password. The suspect attempted to extort money, threatened to release compromising videos unless they received Bit Coin payments.
Theft: The Snoqualmie Police Department stopped a vehicle that had numerous stolen packages within. Mercer Island Police confirmed that one of the packages belonged to a Mercer Island resident who had a package stolen from their residence on the 6700 block of 80th Ave. SE the previous day.
