Theft: At 11:36 a.m. in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street, a person reported fraudulent charges to her Chase Bank credit card. There was no suspect information or surveillance.
April 11
Recovered property: At 12:04 p.m. in the 7500 block of North Mercer Way, a stolen unoccupied Toyota Camry was found parked.
Warrant: At 12:43 p.m. in the 9600 block of Southeast 36th Street, officers made a warrant arrest. They were booked into King County Jail.
Obstructing: At 12:51 p.m. in the 8000 block of Southeast 27th Street, a vehicle was stopped for driver on an electric device. The driver fled and began running across Southeast 27th street. K-9 was requested and responded from the Renton Police Department. The subject was located and taken into custody. They were booked into Kent City Jail on theft charges and a no-bail warrant.
April 12
Burglary: At 1:06 a.m in the 2700 block of 77th Avenue Southeast, a business had its window broken with a brick and a south side door was pried open sometime in the evening. No items were stolen from the organization.
Car prowl: At 11:38 a.m. in the 2600 block of 76th Avenue Southeast, an unlocked car was prowled sometime between the evening and morning of April 11-12. The locked glove compartment was pried open. An iPhone charger and $500 check made out to the victim were stolen. The victim had already canceled the check. There was no surveillance video in the area where the prowl happened.
Stolen ashes: At 6:57 p.m. in the 2600 block of 76th Avenue Southeast, a storage unit was burglarized at the Hadley Apartments. The victim lost a vintage Smith & Wesson revolver a cordless Black and Decker nail gun, a drill and his mother’s ashes, which were kept inside a wooden box.
April 13
Broken mailbox: At 1:56 p.m. in the 6700 block of Southeast 25th Street, a victim found that his mailbox was broken and 10 pieces of scattered mail on the ground. There was no suspect information or surveillance of the incident.
