Fraud: At 3:55 p.m. in the 9400 block of Southeast 47th Street, a victim was scammed out of $1,500 in Target gift cards. Someone called and claimed to be from the Social Security Administration and that they had a warrant for this subject’s arrest. The victim also provided his social security number to the suspect.
June 15
Theft: At 9:27 a.m. in the 3000 block of 78th Avenue Southeast, two suspects stole about $360 in alcohol and two hand basket style shopping carts. Surveillance video and photo of suspect vehicle was obtained.
June 16
Stolen wood burning: At 11:04 a.m. in the 6900 block of 96th Avenue Southeast, a victim reported that his neighbor removed an entire panel of cedar fencing and stole the wood to burn. The repair was estimated at $750.
June 18
Identity theft: At 2:05 p.m. in the 3800 block of 80th Avenue Southeast, a Sprint phone account was created in the victim’s name. It was sent to collections for $3,000.
June 20
Burglary: At 8:26 p.m. in the 2800 block of 75th Place Southeast, a resident reported that their apartment was entered through an unlocked sliding glass door. Personal documents were stolen.
Stolen bike: At 8:44 p.m. in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street, a subject’s son rode his bike to karate class and left it outside. When his son was done with his class, he found his bike was stolen.
