Eastside Regional Business Summit set for Sept. 10

The Mercer Island Chamber of Commerce will join the chambers from Issaquah, SnoValley, Sammamish and Newcastle in hosting the Eastside Regional Business Summit virtually from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sept. 10.

The event is open to all business professionals and will feature speakers focusing on the issues that are currently challenging and impacting the region.

“We bring the experts to you. Engage with presenters, share ideas, and walk away with tools and solutions to support your business in today’s economic uncertainty,” reads the Mercer Island chamber’s website. “This event will reconnect you with existing relationships in the community and provide an opportunity to make new partnerships through our fun and engaging platform.”

At noon, Brian McGowan, chief executive officer of Greater Seattle Partners, will give the keynote presentation: “Now more than ever: Equity, Recovery & Regionalism.”

“Now more than ever, it is critical that we work together to develop a cohesive and coordinated strategy for regional long-term recovery,” the website adds about McGowan’s talk.

Sessions will include “Video Strategy for Today” by Chris Pirillo, chief community advocate for Intel Corporation; “Business Culture/Customer Experience” by Patrick Byers, founder of Outsource Marketing LLC, Sari Davidson, CEO of BooginHead LLC, and Diana Wu, founder and lead dentist of Issaquah Premier Dental; and more.
