Traffic accident: It was reported that a fallen tree from a resident’s backyard in the 4200 block of 83rd Avenue Southeast blocked the roadway and caused vehicles to collide with it.

K9 assistance: Police officers assisted by an outside K9 unit tracked down the driver of a stolen vehicle in the 5400 block of East Mercer Way.
Theft: It was reported that someone stole an item off a resident’s porch in the 4700 block of 90th Avenue Southeast.

No juice: A resident in the 9600 block of Southeast 36th Street called police saying that he was upset that the juicer he ordered doesn’t work.

Animal reports: A possible cougar sighting was reported in the 3700 block of Gallagher Hill Road, and someone complained about an unattended dog in the 8400 block of West Mercer Way.
Burglary: It was reported that household appliances were stolen from a parking garage in the 2900 block of 76th Avenue Southeast.
Theft: Someone shoplifted liquor and food from a store in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street.
Theft: Someone stole mail from a resident’s mailbox in the 7200 block of North Mercer Way.

Home check: A police officer observed a front door of a residence open and investigated for potential burglary activity in the 3700 block of 79th Avenue Southeast. There was no burglary, and the homeowner said he’ll remember to close his door from now on.

Fraud: A resident in the 2700 block of 76th Avenue South reported being a victim of a longstanding fraud in which they receive a check payment exceeding the expected amount and are then asked to send a check back with the difference.

Mail theft: It was reported that there were thefts from mailboxes in the 6100 block of Southeast 28th Street.

Trespassing: Police officers halted subjects from trespassing on a rooftop in the 6800 block of Southeast 30th Street.
Traffic accident: Following a traffic accident with minor damages in the 3000 block of 78th Avenue Southeast, police officers assisted with the exchange of information between the drivers.

Dog issue: It was reported that a resident had an issue regarding dogs off leash in the 2200 block of 72nd Avenue Southeast.

Multiple mail thefts: It was reported that there were multiple mail thefts in the 6100 block of Southeast 28th Street.

Vehicle theft: It was reported that a vehicle was stolen and soon recovered in the 3000 block of 81st Place Southeast.

Loud dog: It was reported that an overzealous dog was barking when someone rang the doorbell in the 3400 block of 80th Avenue South.
Vehicle prowl: It was reported that someone stole $800 worth of property from a vehicle in the 2800 block of 75th Place Southeast.

Noise annoys: A resident in the 2600 block of 76th Avenue Southeast reported loud noises in the area.
Fraud: A vehicle prowl was reported in the 2000 block of 84th Avenue Southeast where someone stole a credit card and used it to make fraudulent charges.
Sept. 25
Harassment: A disagreement was reported in the 4200 block of 92nd Avenue Southeast over the custody of a puppy that was bred by the reporting party’s hair stylist.
Burglary: Residents of a home in the 6900 block of 96th Avenue Southeast reported that when they arrived home they interrupted a burglary in process inside their residence. They noticed possible suspects fleeing the property.

Fraud: A resident in the 2700 block of 62nd Avenue Southeast reported that someone required them to purchase gift cards and provide the gift-card number.
Sept. 23
Road rage: A road-rage incident was reported in the 2800 block of 80th Avenue South. Police reported that no crime had taken place.
Sept. 21
Police assistance: Police officers assisted the reporting party who was concerned about possible nuisance violations of city codes in the 3900 block of 90th Avenue Southeast.
