MI Parent Edge, in conjunction with Mercer Island Youth and Family Services, is sponsoring Parenting in Place, an eight-program masterclass series with nationally known experts from Feb. 17-April 7.

According to MI Parent Edge, the series is for parents who continue to struggle with the challenges of working from home, virtual learning and the stress of the pandemic.

The opening program will feature speakers Debbie Reber and Donald Grant Jr. in “A Conversation on Mindfulness, Mental Health, and Anxiety.” Other topics in the series will include thriving and resilience, sex and gender, raising ethical children and more.

The final program will be a moderated town hall on April 7 and will feature a number of the previous speakers responding to the most pressing concerns and questions from the Parenting in Place community.
