Mercer Island School District (MISD) Superintendent Donna Colosky and Assistant Superintendent Fred Rundle will discuss “MISD: A School Report in This Pandemic” at the Rotary Club of Mercer Island’s June 1 meeting.

Colosky joined the MISD as superintendent in 2017 and has led the district through the development of new values, vision and mission and provided vital leadership during the pandemic. She is in her 35th year in public education. Colosky previously served as superintendent for Paradise Unified School District in Paradise, California. Colosky previously spent 27 years in the Apple Valley Unified School District in the High Desert area of California.
In 2009, Rundle was hired by the MISD as the Lakeridge Elementary principal, a role he held for four years before being hired as the MISD director of Learning Services in 2013. He was promoted to assistant superintendent of Learning Services in 2015. Rundle earned his superintendent credential and his doctorate in educational leadership from Seattle University.
