Noise annoys: A resident in the 6000 block of Island Crest Way filed a noise complaint regarding a loud party.

Harassment: A resident in the 6000 block of Island Crest Way discovered that someone opened shadow social-media accounts in the resident’s name and sent embarrassing messages to friends.

Fraud: A resident in the 5900 block of 92nd Avenue Southeast fell victim to a predatory GoFundMe scam account.

Harassment: While an individual was playing at the beach with his daughter in the 2000 block of 84th Avenue Southeast, he received a text message from an unknown person indicating that they were being watched.

July 20

Marine incident: The marine patrol unit assisted on an incident where a seaplane collided with a vessel near the Gene Coulon Marina in Renton. There were no injuries when the departing seaplane struck the vessel leaving the marina.

Fraud: A resident in the 9000 block of Southeast 50th Street fell victim to a check-fraud scheme in which a contractor deposited the victim’s payment check remotely to his bank and again at Money Tree.

Trespass: A subject was removed from sleeping in a stairwell and served with a trespass notice in the 7600 block of Southeast 27th Street.

Eagles spotted: Concerned citizens reported seeing possibly injured eagles on the ground throughout the Island. The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife reported that this is normal for young eagles.

Vandalism: It was reported that a bank of mailboxes was vandalized in the 8400 block of West Mercer Way.
