Drop-in sports and recreational activities will reopen on Aug. 10 at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center, 8236 SE 24th St.
Visitors can choose from a variety of sports activities, including pickleball, basketball, volleyball and badminton. Open Gym is also available, allowing visitors to get back at their physical activity of choice.
COVID-19 precautions remain in place for safety: masks are required to enter the building, and cash is not accepted at this time.
Pickleball (all ages): 11:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday/Friday; 4:15-7 p.m. Thursday; 12:15-3 p.m. Saturday.
Basketball (all ages): 1:15-3 p.m. Tuesday/Thursday; 3:15-5 p.m. Friday/Saturday.
Volleyball (adults and seniors): 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday/Thursday; 4:15-7 p.m. Wednesday.
Badminton (all ages): 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Tuesday/Thursday; 4:15-7 p.m. Wednesday.
Open Gym (preschool and youth): 1:15-3 p.m. Tuesday/Thursday; 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.
