Disturbance: An unknown male suspect attempted to shoplift merchandise from the Town Center Metropolitan Market in the 2700 block of 77th Avenue Southeast. A store employee confronted the suspect and followed the subject on foot across the street into the McDonald’s parking lot and retrieved the merchandise. The suspect fled the area in a white SUV, and officers responded and investigated. Police reported that social media stories were false about there being a robbery and a physical altercation.
Vehicle theft: A resident in the 3400 block of 77th Avenue Southeast provided video surveillance to police of her vehicle being stolen in the early morning hours.
Theft: It was reported that someone stole painting supplies from a shipment before the victim could receive them in the 2700 block of 76th Avenue Southeast.

Suspicious circumstances: A male approached a female who pretended to know her outside a business in the 7600 block of Southeast 27th Street and gave her a false name and solicited her personal information.
Vehicle prowl: Someone stole electronics and banking materials from a vehicle in the 2900 block of 76th Avenue Southeast.
Fraud: A resident in the 3800 block of 81st Avenue Southeast fell victim to fraud when scammers posing as tech support gave instructions to make a purchase and transfer digital currency.

Marine incident: The marine patrol unit assisted with reports of a vessel possibly stuck on a sand bar on Lake Washington.

Burglary: A resident’s window was broken during a home burglary in the 3400 block of West Mercer Way.
Arrest: Police arrested a subject for alleged assault following a physical disturbance between neighbors at Southeast 35th Street and 90th Avenue Southeast.

Who let the dogs out?: A verbal disturbance was reported between dog owners over proper dog behaviors in the 2000 block of 84th Avenue Northeast.
