Mercer Island’s Bendrick plays strong in USGA tournament

Later that day, 2015 champion Lauren Greenlief of the United States defeated Bendrick 2 up in a Round of 16 match. After qualifying for the Round of 64 in stroke play, Bendrick beat Julia Potter-Bobb of the United States, 5 and 3, to advance.
