Jim Sepic, 79, peacefully passed away on November 6th, 2021, from complications related to pulmonary fibrosis. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Jim was born on December 8th, 1941, in Tacoma, Washington, to Stan and Grace Sepic. Jim’s wonderful and earnest life was defined by his two greatest passions: family and skiing.
Countless weekends were spent between ski cabins in White Pass, Washington and Vail, Colorado, teaching his three children to become prolific downhill skiers. Off the slopes, he tirelessly worked for the family business, eventually creating his own real estate development firm. Jim also cared deeply about education and his alma mater, the University of Denver, creating an endowment supporting its business students.
Jim is survived by his beloved and endearing wife of 45 years, Carmen; daughter Cara Perla (Mike); daughter Christina Roethe (Patrick); son Scott Sepic (Page); and loved by his grandchildren Chloe and Mario Perla; Caroline, Jackson and Kate Roethe; and Vincent and Evan Sepic. He is also survived by his brother Dave Sepic (Judy).
Memorial services will be held at St. Monica’s Church, 4311 88th Ave SE, Mercer Island, WA 98040, on Friday, December 10th, at 10:30 AM, followed by lunch at Broadmoor Golf Club, 2340 Broadmoor Dr E, Seattle, WA 98112.
