The Mercer Island Schools Foundation (MISF) presented a check for a grant in the amount of $808,379.11 to the Mercer Island School District at the board’s Oct. 13 meeting. “We so appreciate all that you do for our schools, students and staff,” reads a school district Facebook post. The money comes from community donations, and MISF’s fall phonathon will occur from Oct. 25-26.
