Margery (Marge) Robbins Higson passed away peacefully on October 30, 2022 in Bellevue, Washington. She was predeceased by her husband John of 43 years. She leaves daughters Lesley Dougherty of Bellevue, Jill Higson of New York, son Scott Higson of Bellevue, and grandchildren Brendan and Kendall Dougherty.

Marge was born on April 4, 1930 in Libertyville, Illinois. Music was a passion throughout her life. She participated in choir, band, and orchestra, and later taught piano and organ, while playing for her church.

A life-long athlete, Marge enjoyed tennis and golf, and loved to follow Mariners baseball. She had a competitive spirit, and welcomed board game and puzzle challenges.

She was a talented seamstress and knitter, with her handmade gifts cherished by friends and family. Travel in retirement and employment with Braniff Airways and United Airlines took her to many interesting and memorable destinations.

Marge requested there be no service, except for burial at the family cemetery in Slinger, Wisconsin.
