Hood triumphs at state equestrian competition

Mercer Island High School freshman Harper Hood placed first at the recent Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) Zone 9 Hunt Seat competition in Lynden. With the win, she advances to the national finals at the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Tryon, North Carolina, from April 26-30.
