Dean Andrew Fischer passed away June 3, 2023 in Longview, WA.

Dean was born March 19, 1940, in Bismarck, North Dakota. He was the middle of three boys born to Adam and Elsie Hochhalter Fischer.

In 1959 he moved to Seattle, WA. Working at NBofC, he met his future wife, Nancy Nelson. They were married in Winthrop, WA in 1961.

They built a home on Mercer Island, and later, a house on Vashon Island.

In 1970, Dean’s brother Duane and his wife Judy were killed in a plane crash. Their three children, Lynn, Lisa, and Steven, came to live with Dean and Nancy on Mercer Island. In 1977, Nancy gave birth to their daughter, Lorelei.

Dean was predeceased by his brothers, Duane and Fran and his wife, Nancy. He is greatly mourned by his family and friends.
