Art Uncorked pours into downtown MI on Sept. 8

An evening of wine tasting, art, music and food will be on tap during the Mercer Island Chamber of Commerce-presented Art Uncorked from 5-8 p.m. on Sept. 8 in the downtown area at Southeast 78th Street and Sunset Highway.

The 10th annual event will feature 20-plus Washington state wineries pouring two or more of their wines under tents along Southeast 78th Street, while juried artists will be showing and selling their paintings, sculptures and more in booths along Sunset Highway. Wines poured will be available for purchase at a 10% discount.

Several food trucks and two sweet treat vendors will also be part of the event along with live music and yard games.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the DECA scholarship program and the Mercer Island Youth and Family Services Foundation.

Tickets for the event are $35 in advance; $45 day of the event. Each ticket includes a commemorative wine glass, tote and 10 tasting tickets. Non-wine-tasting art patron tickets are available for $10. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.mercerislandartuncorked.com.
