Aug. 11

False report: Officers were dispatched to the 5400 block of East Mercer Way for a report of a domestic violence situation involving a weapon. After a thorough search of the property and speaking to the homeowner, the department believes this to be a malicious false report from a third party.

Aug. 7

Theft: It was reported that someone stole items from a retail business in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street.

Burglary: In the 7600 block of Southeast 27th Street, funds were reported stolen from one business and there was an unsuccessful attempt to break into another business.

Aug. 6

Fraud: A phone caller impersonated an Xfinity employee while rolling out a gift-purchasing scam on a resident of the 9600 block of Southeast 36th Street.

Theft: It was reported that there was a potential theft of items from a retail store in the 2700 block of 77th Avenue Southeast.

Aug. 4

Vehicle prowl: A motor vehicle prowl was reported in the 2600 block of 84th Avenue Southeast.

Aug. 3

Burglary: A business owner in the 3200 block of Shorewood Drive reported the theft of items in May.

Aug. 1

Theft: It was reported that someone stole a vehicle cover from a residence in the 7200 block of Southeast 29th Street.
