MI girls swim and dive defeats Hazen

Mercer Island High School’s girls swim and dive team beat Hazen High School, 141-40, on Sept. 7.

Isabel Peng won the 100-yard butterfly (57.90), the 200-yard individual medley (2:13.14) and swam on the victorious 200-yard medley relay with Vivian Woare, Emma Nowakowski and Meg Dahlin (1:53.17) and 400-yard freestyle relay with Dahlin, Hope Enge and CJ Woare (3:46.52).

CJ Woare also won the 200-yard freestyle (2:03.24) and swam on the winning 200-yard freestyle relay with Ella Grogan, Alex Millman and Emily Dunn (1:49.16); Dahlin won the 100-yard backstroke (1:01.48); Nowakowski won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:11.66); Hope Enge won the 50-yard freestyle (25.67); and Amelia Han won the 100-yard freestyle (57.29).

In diving, Maya Moncaster won with 148.45 points.
