With regularly scheduled Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) maintenance work on tap in the Mercer Lid and Mount Baker tunnels, westbound Interstate 90 from Mercer Island to Seattle will be reduced to two lanes starting at 10 p.m. Sept. 15 until 6 a.m. Sept. 16.

The West Mercer Way to I-90 and 76th Avenue Southeast to westbound I-90 ramps will also be closed as part of this work.

The WSDOT crew’s work includes sweeping and clearing obstructing vegetation, camera cleaning and testing, and fire extinguisher and telephone inspection and cleaning.
