Seven Mercer Island High School boys tennis players and head coach Ron Akins earned spots on the 3A All-KingCo teams this fall.

The following members of the season and tournament KingCo champions are:

Gian Manhas (first team, singles); Sam Dilworth (second team, singles); Kai Mason (honorable mention, singles); Conner Leung/Logan Herzinger and Charlie May/Grayson Condor (both first team doubles); and Akins shared coach of the year honors with Toni Leitao of Juanita and Eric Greene of Lake Washington.

Doubles teams of Manhas/Nathan Wen, Dilworth/Leung and Herzinger/May will compete in the district tournament at Seattle’s Woodland Park in the spring for spots in the state tournament the following weekend in Vancouver.
